The Big Smoke!

The harvest was a big success.

Beans do grow well in poor situations.  This year was a bit weird weather wise.  But that sure was a lot of beans!

Now we're headed into Seoul.  I don't expect it to be as polluted today as in the photo, since it isn't spring.  Although fall can have some nasty days of yellow dust, spring is by far the worst.

We're going to check out the hanok village, have lunch in gangnam, and hit costco on the way out.

My poor pocketbook!

But luckily one of the Brothers-in-Law grabbed the check for the meal last night.  We slept on yos at his place.  I had some interesting soju fueled dreams, but maybe I'll save those for later.  The Sister-in-Law had bought a new coffee maker and made delicious coffee this morning, although it was a bit weak.  She said it was Guatamalan.

The girls are really excited.  Me too.

Back later!

I drove past Costco today, and saw a Hyundai Granduer on fire in the middle of the road. The Korean fire fighters were spraying water on the engine, which was causing the fire to spread further into the other lanes.
